Sure, it's decades late, and let's not forget the UTF-8 BOM fiasco (for those not into character encodings, there is zero purpose to a UTF-8 BOM, unlike UTF-16 which could be little-endian or big-endian).
But at this amazing rate of improvement, Windows will be usable by the year 3000!
