Medium (neither rare nor well-done) is the poster child for why you should own your own blog-posting. They shut down custom domains so you had to use their brand. Now they've shut down any monetization except "claps" giving a few pennies from a Medium membership which nobody buys.

  1. @mdhughes Hmm, according to this page, all the tags you used are supported. Maybe it's because your post was over 280 characters and was truncated? Actually that makes sense to me; if the system is going to truncate posts then it also needs to strip HTML or it might end up with un-closed tags.
