Apple, @tim_cook, seriously, fuck off with these new OS version updates. Quit nagging me every day, I don't want High-as-in-420 Sierra on my Mac yet, and sure don't want iOS 11 on my soon-to-be-retired iPhone 6S.
My AC:PC is now waiting for a 6 hour item to craft. So, my #protip list thus far:
- Check the craft time before hitting OK! You can't cancel an item!
- Always do orange chat options first, they have rewards.
- Someone please put some stuff up for sale, I want the buyer cheev.
Shut down that account forever, Jack. You know it's for the best. Twitter Shuts Down Abusive Account for 11 Minutes

So I submitted a new build of Perilar today, fixing 64-bit and iPhone X issues. Got a rejection, for mentioning "unreleased hardware". The iPhone X emulator is in the standard SDK, and has significant UI issues… but we can't say that in the update. Sigh, Apple.
AIM is being shut down and the Kids Today™ are sad. LiveJournal was driven under by Facebook, then bought by Russians and murdered for being gay. ICQ is still going, but nobody uses it. I miss USENET 🙁 . Blogs & blogrings were killed by Twitter but some of us are posting again.
I like the '90s raytraced Geocities aesthetic and clearly Dropbox does, too.
So I sit down to code, and get maybe 30 minutes in, and BAM, interruption. Sit back down and growl and swear a lot, get back into the zone, and BAM, another interruption. Growl, gonna go play games where I murder people.
So here's today's music:
- Escape From Noise, by Negativland - me & my friends listened to this album so many times in college it's completely wired into my head.
Aside: Posted this with the micro.blog client, which now does long posts. I went into the WP dashboard to add categories, but it'd be just fine for most blogging.
Dave Winer complaining someone else might shut off a blogging server without telling the users.
