Press N for new game.
You begin as a rogue (someday you can change your class in town).
In the top left, you will see your health, current [maximum].
Press Z to see your Ztats (statistics).

You begin outside the Village of Bridgerton.
You can go north to enter and learn about the world, or just go wandering.

— W — (or arrows)
A S D move around
. wait a turn

Move into enemies to hit them, NPCs to talk to them.
Shift-WASD will turn without moving.

Press SPC to attack an enemy or NPC ahead of you, T to talk to them.
Sometimes enemies can be pacified or have interesting things to say,
sometimes NPCs are worth killing instead of talking to.

ESC brings up the menu.

If you're having problems with audio, [O]ptions [A]udio will toggle it off.
