There were more shouts and another frenzy for attention. General Washington banged his gavel. “The chair recognizes Alexander Hamilton.”
“Yo,” said Hamilton. “The institutions of our Constitution, give a clear solution to this persecution. The Revolution…”
“The chair unrecognizes Representative Hamilton, and offers the floor to anyone who does not speak in rap.”

Rave On Monday Music
- Everybody's Free, by Andy Whitby & Matt Lee
- The Fat of the Land, by The Prodigy: So tracks 2-10 are some of the best rave music ever. Track 1 is perhaps the best rave song ever… "Smack my bitch up" is a slang demand to receive heroin, but wow does it piss off everyone with that title/lyric, and the prodge would rather milk the controversy than change anything or clarify it.
- The Day Is My Enemy, by The Prodigy
- The Night Is My Friend, by The Prodigy: Remixes
- Further, by The Chemical Brothers
- Born in the Echoes, by The Chemical Brothers
- Serenity Is the Devil, by Icon of Coil

- The Least We Can Do Is Wave to Each Other, by Van Der Graaf Generator
- The Yes Album: First two tracks are meh, so I always forget how amazing "Starship Trooper" and "I've Seen All Good People" are.

The Devil Does Drugs Saturday Music
Insufficient sleep and all screwed up on Monster (Zero Ultra). Let's have some Satanic dance music, and then maybe the machines can kill us all.
- My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult: Nice compilation from the Wax Trax days and across the next 20 years.
- Fun With Knives, by Velvet Acid Christ
- Remix Wars Strike 4, by Funker Vogt & Velvet Acid Christ: Star Trek and Event Horizon fans should listen to Futile!

- Queen
- Queen II
- A Night at the Opera, by Queen
- A Day at the Races, by Queen
- News of the World, by Queen
- Abandoned Luncheonette, by Daryl Hall & John Oates
- War Babies, by Daryl Hall & John Oates: Really enjoyed this album more than I'd expected/remembered, prog rock opera, but still bluesy. Reminds me of many Police albums.
- Daryl Hall & John Oates
- Bigger Than Both of Us, by Daryl Hall & John Oates
- Halloween '77 Live, by Frank Zappa: Zappa's albums are endless and random quality, so his live shows are the only reasonable way to hear him. Shout out to the 24:05 long vamping of Wild Love.
- Chicago '78 Live, by Frank Zappa
Got the Snowy Saturday Music Blues
Gonna look thru the new blues section in Apple Music, see what's good. I don't vouch for any of these yet, will update with notes.
- Strange Angels, in Flight with Elmore James: Tribute album, so far impressed by Tom Jones (rather surprisingly) and Deborah Bonham, but a variety of covers.
- Black Coffee, by Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa: Up through title track's good blues-rock, but then their version of Lullaby of the Leaves is great, guitar wailing and girl screaming hurt out from her gut.
- Charmed & Dangerous, by Altered Five Blues Band: New but not exceptional songs, guitar's better than singing or songwriting, mostly, but On My List to Quit is a fine song.
- Californisoul, by Super Sonic Blues Machine: Kind of a mess of blues, funk, and latin. Bar-band quality, certainly wouldn't buy an album but acceptable background music.
- The Sherman Holmes Project
- Good Morning Midnight, by Scott Ellison
- Stompin' Ground, by Tommy Castro
Stop Whining About Musical Abundance Wednesday Music
- Om Malik asks: Has music lost that loving feeling?: Betteridge's Law gives the correct answer, as usual: No.
- MG Siegler whines a few random setlists aren't random, "it's not the same": Pseudo-random number generation is in fact very close to random with modern seeding & algorithms, MG.
If you want to listen to an album, it's right there, in Apple Music, or presumably Spotify or whatever, which is why I mostly link to albums in my semi-daily music posts. If you want things outside your usual tastes, go hit Browse and find something. Or listen to one of Apple's "radio" stations; Zane Lowe just plays intolerable disco crap for ADHD babies, but there are others.
Anyway. Here's some hostile mechanical music to replace your whiny sentimental humanity:
